In commemoration of World Environment Day, established on June 5th by the UN (United Nations), Coopercitrus -- Rural Producers Cooperative, holds, from June 6th to 10th, Environment Week, with a varied programming with the aim of promoting rural producers' updates on topics relevant to agriculture, in addition to involving the community in experiences focused on environmental practices.
In its programming, the Week will address waste management, reverse logistics of pesticide packaging, restoration of springs, forest restoration, carbon sequestration and socio-environmental certifications.

The end of the week takes place on Friday (10), from 9 am, with the planting of native tree seedlings, at the Coopercitrus Credicitrus Foundation, involving Bebedouro municipal education students and Coopercitrus employees.
Sustainability is one of the pillars of Coopercitrus which, through the Coopercitrus Credicitrus Foundation, has intensified its actions within the community with a focus on the environmental, education and technology pillars. The objective of the cooperative is to meet the new profile of farmers, who are increasingly aware of the benefits of practicing sustainable agriculture and generating benefits for the entire community.
