During the meeting, the 2nd vice-president, Edilamar Wons, presented the evolution of the storage sector and highlighted the construction of structures that speed up the receipt of production during harvest periods. According to him, since 2009, the cooperative has already delivered 39 tippers and the goal is to invest in around five tippers per year and, within four years, implement them in all units.
In addition to presenting all the investments in expansion, which totaled R$2,1 billion, Edilamar also positively evaluated the 2024 harvest, spoke about the requirements of the CAR (Rural Environmental Registry) and the growing concentration of rural properties. “In general, those properties that do not have successors end up being incorporated by those technological producers”, he observed.
The 1st vice-president, Cládis Jorge Furlanetto, presented the livestock sector and value addition blocks. He drew attention to the services provided such as technical assistance, animal welfare, environmental requirements and the expansion of bird quotas by Aurora Coop. “Our professionals are oriented to provide all necessary support for the technical/productive evolution of associates, above all and in a measured manner”, he declared.
The almost 600 participating cooperative leaders also presented questions, suggestions and expressed gratitude for the effects of the management. Educational programs such as Alfa Mulher and Alfa Jovem were on the agenda, and were considered by everyone as important tools for managing continuity on rural properties.
