One of the main problems faced by farmers in Brazil today is the lack of connectivity in the field. To resolve this issue, AGCO, Climate FieldView, CNH Industrial, Jacto, Nokia, Solinftec, TIM and Trimble came together to make ConectarAGRO viable, an initiative that aims to contribute to consolidating and expanding internet access in the most diverse Brazilian agricultural regions.

ConectarAGRO will seek to promote open technologies, comprehensive automation solutions in the field, connecting machines and people, thus allowing more freedom and flexibility to the farmer who is the end user of these technologies. This concept sets ConectarAGRO apart from other technological solutions available on the market, which are currently closed, limited and bring greater insecurity to the farmer who uses them, making their adoption on a large scale difficult.

Rural producers will be able to fully benefit from the resources available today in precision, digital and automation agriculture, in addition to having access to a multitude of new products and services enabled by the existence of connectivity, thus being able to optimize their business. . Each company that is part of this initiative will contribute its valuable expertise and market experiences to help create a favorable ecosystem and improve or develop the conditions for connectivity in the field within the scope of ConectarAGRO, but there will be no joint development, production or commercialization of equipment, products or services on the market by companies, which will continue to act independently, without any combination of economic activities and without sharing risks and results.

In this way, ConectarAGRO will be an important piece for Brazilian agribusiness to further increase its competitiveness on the international stage. The diversity, competence and common interest of the companies involved in an unprecedented initiative to combine efforts creates an environment to better understand the problem of connectivity in the Brazilian countryside, from its different angles, generating an effective strategy to solve it, benefiting agribusiness national. The structure for implementing this initiative is being defined based on all legal practices and needs in force in Brazil.
