The National Supply Company (Conab) is registering private warehouses in parallel with the work of inspecting public stocks. This month, the itinerary includes units in Goiás, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and the Federal District.

The objective of the action is to identify storage units across the country, recording their technical-operational characteristics and their static capacities. The information will be part of an identity, for each silo or warehouse, called Storage Registry (CDA). Currently, the number of units registered in the Company's registration system is around 17 thousand warehouses.

Registration is a legal requirement for storage companies to obtain financing from banking institutions. Registered units are also eligible for accreditation, with Conab, in order to receive stocks of products from the federal government.
