Conab goes to the field to collect data on the 2022 coffee harvest

Field trips will take place in Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais and São Paulo

Starting this week, until August 20th, technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab) will be in the field to collect information about the coffee harvest in all producing regions of the country. The action is part of the 3rd Survey of the 2022 Coffee Harvest, which will be released on September 20th.

Field trips will take place in Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais and São Paulo. 

In addition to field research, the Company also collects remote data through contacts with technical assistance offices, rural properties and other entities involved in the coffee cultivation chain, collecting information on production, area and productivity of the crop, as well as technological packages, phytosanitary quality of crops, in addition to the impacts of climate on production.

Conab monitors coffee development and updates harvest figures every four months, totaling four publications per year. The bulletins contain data on both Arabica and conilon types.
