Wheat harvest nears its end in Brazil
Official estimates indicated negative readjustments for Brazilian and global offers
With the aim of gathering information for the 3rd Survey of the 2021/2022 Grain Harvest, technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab) will begin field research work in the state of Minas Gerais next Monday (22/11).
The research will collect information regarding the area to be planted, percentage already planted, condition of the crops, stage of development of the crops, rural credit for the crops, climatic conditions, market conditions and their impact on the 1st harvest crops: cotton , peanuts, rice, beans, corn, soybeans.
Visits will be made to exchange information with various partner institutions such as cooperatives, public and private technical assistance companies, input resellers and rural project companies.
Coffee
This week, on the 20th, technicians from the state-owned company will close the coffee research in Minas Gerais, which began on November 07th and will help to compose the 4th Survey of the 2021 Harvest and the 1st Survey of the 2022 Harvest. total coffee production for the 2021 harvest, as well as its consequences for the market, and the forecast for the 2022 harvest.
Climate variables, the biennial nature of the crop, rural credit conditions and market perspectives will be monitored. Information will also be collected on the recovery of affected crops and their impacts on future harvests. In total, 114 municipalities in Minas Gerais will be monitored.
The 3rd Survey of the 2021/2022 Grain Harvest will be available on December 9th, on the Conab website. The results of the 4th Coffee Harvest Survey will be published on December 16th, also on the state-owned company's website.
