Conab contributes to international information on crop conditions

The most recent edition of the Agriculture Market Information System (AMIS) bulletin, published this Thursday (03/10) featured, once again, the participation of the National Supply Company (Conab), which presented important data on the scenario national agricultural.

This is the 100th edition of the newsletter with Crop Monitoring analysis for AMIS, which has established itself as a global reference in information on the agricultural market. The objective of the Agricultural Market Information System (AMIS) is to present an international scenario of the development and conditions of the main agricultural commodities, focused on wheat, corn, rice and soybeans, due to the importance of these items in the global food base .

The publication of AMIS is carried out monthly and aims to improve the transparency of agricultural market information and detect emergency situations and possible actions by public policy makers to guarantee global food and nutritional security.

The analysis contained in the bulletin is the result of information shared by AMIS member organizations, which monitor the agricultural market, with Conab being the institution representing Brazil. For the November edition of the newsletter, the Company added information on the conditions of rice, corn, soybeans and wheat crops.
