New technologies stand out at Agritechnica 2023
Fair held in the city of Hanover will present producers and technicians with alternative ways of carrying out work; one of the focuses is on climate change
The National Supply Company (Conab) began work on another field survey today (10/7). This time, to compose the 2nd Survey of the 2023/2024 sugar cane harvest. The activities of the state-owned company's technicians will continue until July 22nd and the results will be published on the Company's website on August 17th.
Among the producing states that will have data research carried out in person are: São Paulo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Bahia, Maranhão, Sergipe, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and Amazonas.
The research is carried out in all production units in the sugar-energy sector. Information will be collected regarding the area, productivity and production of sugar cane, as well as the manufacture of sugar and ethanol. In addition, Conab will also carry out research at corn ethanol producing units, a sector that has been gaining importance in recent harvests.
