Starting this week, the National Supply Company (Conab) begins inspection operations at Storage Units that export soybeans and corn to China and Russia. The objective is to update the Integrated System of Agricultural Products and Establishments (Sipeagro) and prevent risks in Brazil's commercial relations with markets of great relevance to the country. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply transferred approximately R$222 thousand to Conab to carry out this activity.
This year, inspections are scheduled for 487 Storage Units, located in 15 (fifteen) states, by December. Inspections begin this Monday (12), in Mato Grosso, where 97 inspections are planned, and in Paraná, where 244 inspections are planned. On September 26th, operations will begin in Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo.
In conjunction with this activity, Conab also updates data from the National Register of Storage Units, a system managed by the Company that contains the characteristics of warehouses in Brazil.
