Fundecitrus participates in the 14th International Citrus Congress, in Türkiye

The National Supply Company (Conab) began research work on Monday (21/11) to compose the 3rd Survey of the 2022/2023 sugarcane harvest. The activities of the state-owned company's technicians continue until December 3rd and the results will be published on the Company's website on December 22nd.
In total, fourteen states will have data research carried out in person: Alagoas, Bahia, Goiás, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, São Paulo and Tocantins. Conab carries out a survey of the sugar-energy sector in all production units in the country, through a sector census.
Data such as planted area, average productivity perspectives, influence of climatic conditions, harvest evolution, destination of crushed sugarcane, ethanol and sugar production and marketing aspects are among the items analyzed. The highlight is the analysis of the final part of the sugar cane harvest in the Center-South Region of Brazil.
According to the 2nd Survey of the 2022/2023 Harvest, released by Conab on August 19th, harvest productivity began to show recovery after two cycles of climatic adversities. Estimated production was 572,9 million tons.
