Compressors and tractors are the best-selling used agricultural implements, reveals OLX

The compressor and the tractor are the most sold agricultural implements through OLX between January and August of this year. This is according to a survey by the largest marketplace for classifieds of used products, cars and properties in Brazil, which also shows that each of them represents 12% of sales of items in this segment.

“Generators are the agricultural product whose demand grew the most on OLX in the first eight months of the year, compared to the same period in 2023, with a 137% increase. Excavators were the second with the highest variation, with 113%, followed by wheel loaders, with 92%. These and other indicators illustrate the dynamism of the platform, which is democratic, as it allows agribusiness professionals to advertise and find second-hand items with good cost-benefit,” says the VP of Automobiles and Consumer Goods at the OLX Group, Flávio Passos.

When analyzing sales, compressors and tractors equally occupy the top positions among the best-selling agricultural items, with a 12% share each. After compressors and tractors sharing the lead, brush cutters occupy second place in the ranking, with an 11% share, while generators and lathes are in third place, with 6% each.

Tractors also lead among the most sought-after products. Backhoes are in second place, and excavators are in third. When evaluating the most advertised products on the platform, tractors also lead. Compressors are in second place and generators are in third.

The excavator is the agricultural implement with the highest average price during the period, R$217.772, according to the survey. The brush cutter has the lowest median value during the period, R$992.
