Satis reinforces its commitment to regenerative agriculture by announcing a new addition to its innovative Vex line of biodefensives: Nemavex. The solution contains living agents that promise to stimulate and protect root development, in addition to strengthening the plant against biological stress. According to the company, results in cotton and soybean crops showed a six-bag per hectare increase in productivity and an 80% reduction in root damage.
One of the distinguishing features of this bionematicide is its direct application to the soil before planting, helping to combat nematodes. Its composition includes four strains of bacteria (two of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, one of Bacillus thuringiensis and one of Bacillus subtilis), acting through six different defense mechanisms: root biofilm, phytohormones, induction and resistance, nematicidal volatile compounds, disorientation and nematicidal diffusible metabolites.
According to Satis, it can be applied in conjunction with another member of the Vex family, Trichovex. This is a biofungicide developed from Trichoderma harzianum and has a direct effect on the microbiota. Both products complement soil preparation and biological management, helping to prevent diseases that remain in the soil and attack the plant's root system.
Satis is preparing another launch in the biologicals segment. Multivex, the third product in the Vex line of biodefensives, is expected to hit the market by the end of this year to expand protection to the aerial part of the plant. With a formulation based on Bacillus amyloliquefaciens e Bacillus velezensis, will help control diseases such as cercaspora, target spot, powdery mildew and Asian rust, especially in the vegetative stage (V2 to V4).
"With the arrival of the Vex line, Satis takes an important step forward, reinforcing not only its presence in the field, but also its mission to drive the future of Brazilian agriculture with scientific research, trust, and proven results. This move marks the company's official entry into the registered biopesticides segment," he highlights. Jair Unfried (pictured), Business Director at Satis.
