For another week, citrus sales have been sluggish in the state of São Paulo. According to Cepea employees, in addition to the period of the month (second fortnight), when sales normally decrease, the drop in temperatures in the country reinforced the lower demand for the fruit. In addition to demand, the gradual increase in the supply of oranges is also putting pressure on values.

In this week's partial (Monday to Thursday), pear oranges have an average of R$ 36,11/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, a drop of 6,09% compared to the previous week. The ruby has an average of R$31,98/box, a devaluation of 5,04% in the same comparison.

In the case of Tahiti lime, prices have not yet reacted, given that the supply of the variety remains higher than demand. The partial average for the week is R$ 15,07/box of 27 kg, harvested, a drop of 2,81% in the same comparison.
