According to the Integrated Agrometeorological Bulletin 23/2025, the forecast for the next few days (between June 05 and 08) indicates the action of meteorological systems, resulting in light to moderate rains, with the possibility of isolated storms in Rio Grande do Sul. The forecast is for good weather for most of the state with falling temperatures.
The trend for the period between June 9th and 11th indicates that a cold air mass will dominate the state. As a result, a sharp drop in temperatures is expected and there is no forecast of significant rainfall. The lowest temperatures are expected in the regions of Serra Gaúcha, Campanha and Sul, with values that may be close to 0°C.
“The forecast for the next seven days indicates the occurrence of significant rainfall in the Northwest, North, Northeast and Central portions of Rio Grande do Sul. In the North, Northeast, Northwest and Central regions, the expected volumes vary between 10 mm and 100 mm, with some isolated points reaching 150 mm accumulated. The Southwest region presents accumulations between 1 mm and 10 mm. The South and Southeast regions do not present significant rainfall accumulations”, informs the technical team of the Department of Diagnosis and Agricultural Research DDPA – Director Caio Fábio Stoffel Efrom.
According to the DDPA, Rio Grande do Sul has recorded low temperatures and heavy rainfall over the last seven days. As a result, precipitation has been recorded throughout the state. In isolated areas of the North Coast and Metropolitan Area, daily rainfall amounts exceeded 100 millimeters. In some municipalities in Serra Gaúcha, freezing rain and snow have been recorded.
