CNH Industrial celebrates 10 years of sprayer production in Brazil

In 2016, the CNH Industrial factory in Piracicaba (SP) completed 10 years of producing agricultural sprayers in Brazil. The plant manufactures models from Case IH and New Holland Agriculture, which are fully developed for national working conditions and sold in Brazil and Latin America.

Sprayers are among the main products of CNH Industrial's agricultural brands. The machines are ideal for rural producers who seek to professionalize the cultural processing stages. They are designed to work on rough terrain, situations where more torque is required, designed to overcome adversities, such as passing through a contour line.

Innovations and updates to sprayer models are made after thousands of hours of testing, mainly on crops in the south of the country, where the machine is most used. Experiments are also carried out in sugarcane plants, areas that require a lot of equipment. The latest models are:

New Holland Agriculture SP2500 Premium Sprayer: The power of 165 hp in a four-cylinder engine results in more strength to work on contour lines with savings of up to 25% in fuel. The new product is an evolution of the SP2500, already recognized in the market for its performance in the field. The exclusive IntelliDivider traction system, another new feature of the machine, provides the sprayer with smooth movement and excellent performance on hills. Furthermore, in the event of loss of traction on one of the wheels, it is possible to maintain up to 75% capacity on the wheelsets that are in contact with the ground. The machine has the largest free space in its category among sprayers with 2000 and 3000 liters of capacity, with 1,65m between the chassis and the ground, which facilitates spraying on taller crops, such as corn. In addition to the PLM system (Precision Land Management), which avoids waste and optimizes time and inputs.

Case IH Patriot 250 Extreme Sprayer: manufactured within the Efficient Power concept, it has 2.500 liter tanks and 24 or 27 meter bars, which guarantee a new engine and independent traction system, generating even more power and performance in regions with irregular topography. In addition to technology, the savings generated by the Patriot 250 Extreme stand out. Equipped with the 165hp Case IH FPT Industrial engine, 4 cylinders, Common Rail injection system and Turbo Intercooler, the Patriot 250 Extreme also has the Independent Traction Assistance system as a distinguishing feature. The entire line of Patriot Case IH sprayers comes with factory autopilot and automatic section cutting, AFS Precision Agriculture technology, damping system, active hydraulic suspension, in addition to the revolutionary Autoboom drive to ensure vertical stability and automatic height adjustment of the bars.
