CNH Industrial announces New Holland's new T9 SmartTrax

CNH Industrial, through the New Holland brand, announced the T9 SmartTrax with PLM Intelligence for the 2025 model year in North America and Australia. Orders begin in summer 2024.

The T9 SmartTrax with PLM Intelligence features cutting-edge features. Includes advanced oscillating wheels and suspension that dampen vibrations. This improves ride quality and prevents uneven wear. The system makes daily maintenance easy with clear track system hub covers. Additionally, it eliminates manual adjustments with its automatic belt tensioning system, extending belt life.

Available on five T9 models for the 2025 model year — T9.520, T9.580, T9.615, T9.655 and T9.700 — the SmartTrax system ensures performance in a variety of terrains. It improves operational performance and preserves the integrity of the field environment.

According to information from CNH Industrial, operators will notice benefits in speed and maneuverability with the SmartTrax system. Access to a range of high-powered T9 models and an increase in maximum vehicle speed ensure efficiency. Road speeds now reach 40 km/h (25 mph), making it easier to transport from field to field.

The T9 SmartTrax offers flexibility with multiple track belt options. Includes two widths — 76 and 91 cm (30 and 36 inches) — and three different strap brands. A 47% increase in fuel capacity for 9 model year T2025 SmartTrax tractors is another advancement. Capacity is now 1722 liters (455 US gallons).

An innovative feature of the T9 SmartTrax is the automatically moving cabin access ladder. This makes getting in and out of the cabin easier.
