To guarantee a perfect planting stand and expected germination, it is necessary to calibrate and adjust all components of the seeder-fertilizer.
The CNA Institute presented, on Monday, December 14th, the benefits and functionalities of the Agricultural Machinery Registration platform (ID Agro) to state agriculture and livestock federations and rural producer unions. The tool was launched in November this year by CNA and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa).
“ID Agro will bring more security to the producer, both in accessing rural credit, taking out insurance, and in inhibiting theft and theft of equipment and without any cost to the producer”, stated Mônika Bergamaschi, executive secretary of the CNA Institute.
The platform was developed through a partnership between the CNA Institute and the Secretariat of Innovation, Rural Development and Irrigation of Mapa to initially register all agricultural machines that leave dealerships.
The administrative coordinator of the CNA Institute, Carlos Frederico Ribeiro, presented the format of the tool and the step-by-step instructions that the producer must follow to register, which is mandatory for machines that travel on public roads and have the appropriate dimensions.
According to Ribeiro, ID Agro is currently available for an Android application, where the producer will have access to the property file, the Renagro document, the QR Code, messages and accident notification. In the future it will also be on the web and available for the iOS system.
“Notifications of robberies and thefts are under development and possibly at the beginning of next year they will be available, being sent directly to public security agencies. Another important issue related to security is the insertion of the QR Code on the equipment. When located, this will facilitate the identification of ownership of that asset, facilitating the action of security agents”.
Until March 20, 2021, the platform will go through a pilot phase in which only some authorized machinery dealers will be able to register new tractors. From that date onwards, the authorized network will be expanded and it will also be possible to register old tractors.
ID Agro complies with law 13.154/2015, which amended the Brazilian Traffic Code, and now requires the registration of ownership of tractors and other self-propelled devices intended for pulling or dragging agricultural machinery or carrying out agricultural work. With the change in the law, agricultural machinery is exempt from annual licensing and registration.
