Paths for export, tractor registration, carbon market, land regularization, communication and Low Carbon Agriculture (ABC) technologies. These were the topics discussed at the Sistema CNA/Senar stand, on Wednesday (31/08), during Expointer 2022, in Esteio (RS).

The first lecture of the day was about the Agro.BR project. CNA's International Relations advisor Rita Padilha presented all the services that the initiative offers to small and medium-sized producers who are interested in starting to export, such as business rounds, the Landing program, training, international missions and support from state and international offices.

Gabriela Bennett Bragança, from São Gabriel (RS), attended the lecture and said that she was still unfamiliar with this type of CNA work. “I found it very interesting, I even intend to talk to people in my region and share this information that hasn't reached there yet. It is very important to see the testimonials of those who are involved in the project and enjoy being part of it.”

Then, the administrative coordinator of the CNA Institute, Carlos Ribeiro, spoke about the National Registry of Tractors and Agricultural Machines (Renagro) and the importance of rural producers formalizing the documentation of machines and equipment from September 30th.

Registration can be done through ID Agro Máquinas, a platform developed by the CNA Institute in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture (Mapa). The ID Agro app is available for download on Android and iOS systems. For more information and inquiries, visit here.

In his talk, CNA's Sustainability coordinator, Nelson Ananias, highlighted the opportunities of the carbon market for the agricultural sector. According to him, it is an instrument that helps the country meet the environmental goals established at the Climate Conference and also recognizes the actions that rural producers are already taking in the field, such as planting forests and using ABC technologies.

For Andreia Brondani, from Cacequi (RS), rural producers are those who are most concerned about taking care of the environment and are interested in entering the carbon market. “Brazil produces more and more in the same territory, so we are working correctly to increase productivity in the same area.”

In the afternoon, rural producer and digital influencer Camila Telles spoke about her professional career and showed the importance of social networks as a source of information and for the image of the sector. “Agriculture needs to be everywhere.”

CNA technical advisor José Henrique Pereira presented Incra's Territorial Governance Platform (PGT) and the main services that can be accessed. In this context, Pereira highlighted the importance of land regularization to value the producer's assets, promote legal security, provide the necessary transparency for rural activity and enable producers' access to government public policies, such as credit and rural insurance.

The day's lecture cycle ended with a presentation by Senar's technical advisor Rafael Costa on the work of Technical and Management Assistance (ATeG) with the adoption of ABC technologies. He stated that a good way to transition to a low-carbon economy is to seek representation, participate in technical assistance and training programs and adopt management practices to understand the business.

“I learned a lot from the lecture. I think this topic should be mandatory in schools. Our children had to have contact with all of this. It's such a short talk, but it adds so much and can even awaken a new world in children and young people”, said Thais Tatini, from São Paulo, who attended the presentation.
