Incidence of weeds in soybean crops has increased
Producers who do not want to suffer losses due to undesirable plants in their crops must carry out efficient pre-sowing management
To publicize the plant traceability system, which will help fruit and vegetable producers to adapt to the requirements of the law, technical advisors from CNA and the Institute presented the platform at the Feira Internacional dos Cerrados – AgroBrasília 2019 this Thursday (16).
When speaking to producers at the fair, the technical advisor of the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), Eduardo Brandão, explained that traceability complies with Joint Normative Instruction 02 of the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa).
“As soon as this Normative Instruction comes into force, the traceability of fruits and vegetables sold directly to the consumer will be mandatory for vegetable producers. For this reason, the Institute developed a platform that will allow the recording of planting, harvesting and shipping information, aiming to identify the product, origin and destination”, highlighted Brandão.
The Institute's technical coordinator, Carlos Frederico Ribeiro, highlighted that the Agritrace system is very accessible to producers. “The tool is quite simple to use and we are working on the mobile version of the tool. In addition to recording information, it will enable producers to monitor property management at all stages, in addition to providing greater confidence for the end consumer”, he highlighted.
