CNA addressed the opportunities and potential for sustainability of Brazilian soybeans in a meeting with the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove).

The president of the National Commission for Cereals, Fibers and Oilseeds of the Confederation, Ricardo Arioli, met with the executive president of Abiove, André Nassar, on Wednesday (15/02), to also discuss the ongoing review of the sector's regulations.

According to Arioli, the production sector needs to be in permanent dialogue so that the sustainable practices adopted by producers are recognized.

“Work towards sustainability, combined with continuous improvement actions developed together for rural producers, are fundamental in this process”, he said.

Ricardo Arioli highlighted that it is possible to go further. “Valuing and rewarding the quality of our product must be the guide for discussions on quality and sustainability standards”.
