Prices for pear oranges registered a slight drop this week, according to data from Hortifruti/Cepea. From Monday to Thursday, pear oranges had an average of R$40,11/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, down 0,14% compared to the previous week. Ruby had an average of R$33,72/box, a devaluation of 0,25% in the same comparison.

According to Cepea researchers, agents expected sales of oranges to pick up this week, but the milder weather limited demand. On the supply side, there was a gradual increase in the availability of precocious foods.
