Tahiti acid lime is at its harvest peak in the state of São Paulo, which is causing prices to drop significantly in the fresh market, as shown by data from Cepea.

This week, specifically, the rains were quite frequent throughout the state of São Paulo, making it difficult to harvest the fruit. However, even this was not enough to sustain Tahiti's values.

With domestic values at low levels, interest in the international market is increasing. Many producers are exporting as much volume as possible, as this contributes to controlling domestic supply, in addition to better remuneration compared to the national market.
