Staphyt expands its operations in Brazil with the acquisition of Grupo Phytus
Phytus now joins the Staphyt Brasil structure, which now offers 3 research centers strategically located in 3 important regions for the Research and Development area
The Ministry of Agriculture changed the phytosanitary framework for the State of Minas Gerais in relation to Citrus Canker (Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri). The determination, published in today's Official Gazette of the Union, is contained in Ordinance SDA 659, of September 22, 2022.
In general, the State of MG is now considered an area without the occurrence of citrus canker.
The determination does not apply to the municipalities of Campina Verde, Carneirinho, Formoso, Frutal, Iturama and Planura. These locations are classified as areas under “Risk Mitigation System - SMR for Citrus Canker”.
