CESB holds High Soy Productivity Week

The Brazil Soy Strategic Committee (CESB) invests solidly and consistently in promoting and sharing the best soy farming techniques in the country. Continuing this work, which has wide national recognition, CESB will hold the CESB Altas Produtividades Week, this journey that will feature several informative activities, with the aim of highlighting to producers and the soybean production system the fundamental topics related to productivity sustainable and also to reinforce the main topics of the important postgraduate course Master in Soy Agricultural Technology (MTA). Held by Centro Universitário Integrado Campo Mourão, in partnership with CESB and Elevagro, the MTA de Soja will soon have registrations open for the second class.

During the CESB High Soy Productivity Week, which will take place on the 22nd, 24th and 29th of June, always at 20 pm, three special and free live sessions will be held, in which experts from CESB will talk about the best cultivation practices.

The event can be attended by rural producers, businesspeople, agronomists, consultants, members of cooperatives and soybean growers. Any professional or student is invited to understand how it is possible to achieve the maximum level of productivity in a sustainable way, without "magic formulas" or the misuse of products.

Postgraduate EAD MTA

The EAD MTA Soja postgraduate course at Centro Universitário Integrado Campo Mourão, in partnership with CESB and Elevagro, aims to promote technical knowledge of the highest level, presenting data and productivity studies obtained by CESB, through strict protocols and high level of transparency. Held by Centro Universitário Integrado Campo Mourão, in partnership with CESB and Elevagro, the MTA de Soja will soon have registrations open for the second class.

With highly experienced teachers, the course has a curriculum that provides a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge about the entire soybean production chain. It is ideal for novice or experienced producers to stay up to date with market innovations and be more prepared for the challenges of the sector, applying best practices in their productions.

Phenology of soybean crops, Leaf nutrition in soybean crops, Fungal resistance to fungicides, Effects of exchange rates on soybean profitability, Insect resistance to insecticides, Precision agriculture, Biological Control as a tool in Integrated Pest Management and Conventional and biotechnology in soybean cultivation are some of the topics that will be covered during the course.

CESB was created with the aim of offering a regional and national environment that encourages soybean farmers and technical consultants to challenge their knowledge by encouraging the development of innovative cultivation practices. The committee is made up of 22 members and 32 sponsoring entities: Basf, Bayer, Syngenta, UPL, FMC, Jacto, Mosaic, Superbac, Corteva, Instituto Phytus, Eurochem, Compass Minerals, ATTO Adriana Sementes, Stoller, Timac Agro, Brasmax, Stara , Datafarm, Viter, Somar Serviços Agro, Ubyfol, Fortgreen, KWS, Yara, Sumitomo Chemical, Adama, Agrivalle, HO Genética, FT seeds, Biotrop, Koppert and IBRA.

In addition to the Master in Soybean Agricultural Technology (MTA), CESB carries out a series of other actions that aim to increase the average productivity of national soybean farming in a sustainable and profitable way for its participants and society. One of these initiatives is the National Soybean Maximum Productivity Challenge, which has established itself as a real opportunity for Brazilian agribusiness to use even more sustainable practices of excellence in soybean cultivation, in addition to encouraging the exchange of experiences between agents across the entire production system. .

The winners of the National Soybean Productivity Maximum Challenge (national champion and winners from the South, North/Northeast, Center-West, Southeast and Irrigated category regions) are announced during the National Soybean Maximum Productivity Forum, which also provides a great moment of fraternization, between producers and consultants, and celebration of maximum soybean productivity in all Brazilian regions, directly contributing to the dissemination of information for good cultivation practices
