With a more dynamic format, spread over three days, and in a new location to facilitate the travel of participants, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) has been structuring the 10th Coffee Dinner & Summit, the main event for Brazilian coffee production and one of the most important in the world in 2025, which will debate, in Campinas (SP), at the Royal Palm Hall, between July 2 and 4, “The future of trade flow: protagonism and leadership of Brazilian coffees”.
"Our event has grown over the years and we understand that we need a larger venue, in a city that facilitates the logistical issues for participants, in addition to expanding the range of topics for discussion in view of challenging scenarios for all segments of global coffee production," explains Marcos Matos, CEO of Cecafé.
The opening ceremony will take place at 19:30 p.m. on July 2, with the participation of representatives of the federal government and the main coffee-producing states in Brazil, as well as leaders of the global production chain. A welcome cocktail will be held afterwards.
On the 3rd, the program, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 18:15 p.m., will feature the panel "CEOs & Leaders of the Global Coffee Agribusiness", with the participation of representatives from NKG, Sucafina, Ecom, Starbucks, illycafè, Keurig and Ueshima Coffee, among others, who will discuss the current market scenario and future challenges. The political panel "The Future of Brazilian Agriculture" will present the vision of governors of the main coffee-producing states, deputies and senators from the Parliamentary Front for Agriculture (FPA) and leaders from the Instituto Pensar Agro (IPA).
The panel "Global Coffee Organizations" will bring discussions about the European Union Regulation for Deforestation-Free Products (EUDR) and the new trade rules in times of ESG, with contributions from authorities from the National Coffee Association (NCA), from the United States; European Coffee Federation (ECF); British Coffee Association (BCA), from the United Kingdom; Swiss Coffee Trade Association (SCTA), from Switzerland; Federación Nacional de Cafeteros (FNC), from Colombia; and Cecafé.
The panel "The Future of Sustainable Coffee Farming" will bring a female perspective to the debate, with the participation of women representing Embrapa, Exportadora Guaxupé, Lavazza, Starbucks, Tchibo and Nestlé. Next, the panel "Cafés do Brasil" will discuss branding in times of socio-environmental governance, with the participation of the entities that make up the Coffee Policy Deliberative Council (CDPC) – Abic, Abics, Cecafé, CNA and CNC –, Embrapa and José Luiz Tejon, one of the greatest authorities in the areas of agribusiness marketing.
"Brazilian Economy: What to Expect in the Future" will be the panel that will close the discussions on the second day of the event, with the participation of representatives from the Central Bank of Brazil and Sicoob. On July 4, the debates will resume at 10:30 am, with representatives from YvY Capital, the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (ABAG) and the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA) presenting their positions on "Global Geopolitics".
Next, in the "Coffee market outlook", professionals from Marex, Hedgepoint, StoneX, Rabobank and Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) will make their considerations regarding the future of the coffee market supply. Still focusing on supply, "Logistical challenges in the coffee supply" will be addressed by representatives of Cecafé, the Ministry of Ports and Airports, the National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq), shipowners, port users and the European port authority.
The last panel of the Coffee Dinner & Summit 2025 will address "Coffee consumption trends", with professionals from companies and entities representing the continents where the product is most consumed, such as Lavazza, Luckin Coffee, NCA, Brazilian Coffee Industry Association, Ueshima Coffee and Euromonitor. The event will close at 19 pm, with a gala dinner.
The 10th edition of the Coffee Dinner & Summit is expected to bring together 1.200 people from all links in the coffee production chain in Brazil and around the world, in an opportune environment for exchanging experiences, dialogue and expanding contacts for prospecting business.
"Our aim is to address the important role of Brazilian coffee and its initiatives in sustainable development, income generation and contribution to climate balance in terms of good practices and carbon sequestration from the atmosphere. In addition to the socio-environmental aspect, we will also promote a reflection on the domestic and foreign macroeconomic scenario, market prospects and global logistical challenges to ensure Brazil's position as the main and reliable partner in the global coffee trade," concludes Matos.
