The Scientific Committee of the XXII Brazilian Seed Congress (CBSementes) announced the extension of the deadline for submitting scientific works to June 10th. The deadline was extended to meet authors' requests for more time to prepare abstracts. With the theme “Seed: raw material for sustainability”, CBSementes will be held from September 10th to 13th, 2024, at the Rafain Palace Hotel & Convention, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
The works will be awarded in three categories: undergraduate, master's and doctorate. This award tradition highlights excellence and innovation in the field of seed science, further encouraging the advancement of research and technology in this important sector of agriculture.
Professor Laércio Silva, from the Scientific Committee, highlights that this year the event brings new features, in addition to the traditional written summary, authors will also be able to send a video about the work.
To send video links related to your work, you need to pay attention to some criteria. Links to these videos will be added to the end of the abstracts in the conference proceedings and must be recorded by the authors themselves and hosted on publicly accessible platforms, such as YouTube. Videos must not exceed five minutes in length and the authors are responsible for the quality of the recording, ensuring good audio and video capture to facilitate access and understanding of the content.
All details for formatting the summary and the script for recording the videos are on the event page. (cbsementes.com/resumos).
