Thinking about promoting the professional training of young people and adults in Mato Grosso, Case IH, a CNH Industrial brand, entered into a partnership with the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai) and the National Service for Rural Learning (Senar) to offer courses in professional training.
In this first stage of the project, more than 30 thousand certifications will be offered in courses and technical training in the operation and maintenance of machines such as tractors, planters, sprayers and harvesters. Specializations in digital agriculture and a technical learning program for Young Apprentices will also be available in five cities in Mato Grosso: Rondonópolis, Sapezal, Água Boa, Lucas do Rio Verde and Barra do Bugres.
"Case IH, as a pioneer in the manufacture of innovative machines and solutions, knows that digital agriculture is a reality in the field and that having a prepared workforce is essential for these changes. That's why we are investing more than R$36 million alone in the first stage of this project that involves entities as representative for the country as Senai and Senar", says Christian Gonzalez, vice-president of Case IH for Latin America.
According to the 2021 Emerging Professions in the Digital Era survey, in the next ten years, there will be more than 500 thousand job opportunities linked to agribusiness. The objective of the project is to meet this need, increasing employability and reducing the shortage of qualified labor.
The first stage of the professional training project, in partnership with Senai and Senar, in the state of Mato Grosso, will last three years. "We will expand this project throughout the country, preparing the job market for the developments that digital agriculture brings and will bring to the countryside. In this way, contributing to the development not only of the agricultural sector, but of the whole of Brazil", emphasizes Gonzalez.
Mato Grosso is the largest soybean producer in the country, with a planted area estimated at 11,8 million hectares, according to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA). In just the first six months of 2022, the area of
Agriculture generated more than 11 thousand new formal jobs in the state. "In addition to high productivity, which is undeniable, we have a long history with Mato Grosso, as Case IH began its operation in the country serving this region. This was one of the reasons that led us to start training there", comments Eduardo Penha, Director of Marketing and Communications at Case IH for Latin America.
Those interested in undergoing training in the Operation of Agricultural Machines such as tractors, planters, sprayers and harvesters can look for one of the Senar units in the cities of Sapezal, Rondonópolis and Água Boa. In total, there will be more than six thousand vacancies open per year, with free courses lasting three to five days, which provide theoretical and practical knowledge for operating machines, using implements and their basic maintenance.
"Working for the development of the agro-industrial chain in the state is a priority for Senai-MT. The training of new talents and professional updating enable greater productivity and competitiveness for companies in the segment, as well as more opportunities for decent work for people in our state", points out the regional director of Senai MT, Carlos Braguini.
At Senai units in the municipalities of Rondonópolis, Lucas do Rio Verde and Barra do Bugres, vacancies will be offered for Minor Apprentice at technical level lasting two years, in addition to technician training in Agricultural Machinery Maintenance, which can vary from 320 to 800 hours, and technical training in areas such as Precision Agriculture, Applied Hydraulics and Electricity and Autopilot Configurations. Senai will make mobile units available that will offer the same courses in other cities in the state.
"We are always attentive to technological innovations in agricultural machines and implements and in search of new ways to improve rural professional qualifications. This partnership is extremely important and comes to add to our mission at Senar-MT, which is to promote professional and social development for the rural environment with innovative educational solutions", says the president of the Famato/Senar System, Normando Corral.
