Commercial Reciprocity Law comes into force in Brazil

Case IH has introduced its new generation of Magnum tractors. There are six new models: Magnum 265, 295, 325, 355, 380 and 405. The numbers refer to the engine power. There was a change in the engine module and adjustments that allowed for an increase in power ranging from 10 to 15 hp per model.
In terms of transmissions, the 265, 295 and 325 models use 18x4. In turn, the Magnum 355, 380 and 405 have 21x5 transmissions.
The 21x5 transmission features a new feature called "brake to clutch," an automatic mode, explains Lauro Rezende, who works in product marketing at Case. When both brake pedals are pressed, the tractor automatically engages the clutch. When the foot is released from the brake, the machine starts moving again. This eliminates the need for the operator to put the tractor in neutral or use the clutch pedal. The machine acts as if it were an automatic car. This provides greater comfort and ease of operation.
There has been an increase in the supply of tires. Previously, the front dual tire was limited to 480. Today, two new options are available: the 540 dual tire and the 600 dual tire. This improves weight distribution, increases the contact area with the ground and traction, says Rezende.
Another highlight of the series is the possibility of a luxury cabin. It has leather seats and steering wheel, radio, electric opening and adjustment mirrors, front and rear cameras (optional).
Case IH also launched the Axial-Flow AF10 Automation combine harvester. According to the company, it is the largest grain harvester in the world. The machine has twice the separation area compared to the 260 Series, until then the largest machine that Case produced.
The AF10 has a maximum power of up to 775 hp. It is the largest engine offered by the company for harvesting. Carlos Cabral, who works in product marketing at Case, explains that it is the harvester with the highest power on the market.
The harvesting platform also stands out. With an articulated chassis, adjustable attack angle and adjustable track speed, it has three options of 25, 50 and 61 feet.
Finally, Cabral explains that the machine was developed considering the "Total Cost of Ownership" (TCO), the total cost of the harvester to harvest a given area. "We need a machine that harvests more, in less time, using less fuel and throwing less away. The entire machine was built based on delivering a lower operating cost to the customer," he concludes.
The company announced sixteen new products in total, including machines and systems. “We are introducing a new concept that we are calling Agronomic Intelligence, which encompasses an ecosystem composed of machines, solutions and services. It is more than just selling machinery; we will be increasingly involved in the results of agricultural operations, focused on ensuring the productivity and efficiency that producers desire,” explained Christian Gonzalez, vice president of Case IH for Latin America.
In addition to the Magnum tractors and the AF10 combine, there were new features in the following machines: Axial-Flow Series 260, Farmall C, Fast Riser E-drive, Patriot Series 50, Puma 260 CVX, Puma MY25 and Steiger MY25. In terms of technologies and services, the following were presented: Automation 2.0, Spraying Drone, FieldOps, FieldXplorer, Raven Pilots and SaveFarm.
