Case IH, a CNH Industrial brand, continues with its launch plan for 2020, presenting the new line of Fast Riser 6100 planters and the New Patriot 350. The news reinforces the brand's commitment to maintaining its launch calendar even in the face of the pandemic and ensuring greater efficiency, productivity and technology so that producers can extract maximum performance in the field.

Check out the equipment differences:

Fast Riser 6100

Foldable, the Fast Riser 6100 is available in versions with 48 to 61 rows and offers uniform plant emergence, from the first to the last row, due to the patented weight distribution system on the wings. In this way, the new machine, in addition to covering more hectares per day, guarantees the quality of the harvest even in shorter windows.

“Unlike other machines on the market, the Fast Riser presents the concept of agronomic design, a system that provides absolute precision in all lines. In other words, it is equipment that revolutionizes large-scale planting, with end-to-end productivity”, guarantees Case IH Product Marketing specialist, André Peres.

This edge-to-edge precision is possible due to the weight distribution system in the wings. The central region of folding planters concentrates around 70% of the equipment's weight. Aware of this, the automatic weight distribution hydraulic system ensures that all planter lines have the same weight in contact with the ground. The result is: total uniformity of seed depth and, consequently, emergence of 98% of plants in just 3 days.

“The weight distribution system, as designed by us, does not exist in any other planter. This is the guarantee of end-to-end productivity”, adds Peres, who points out that the optional variable rate and line cutting system allows the machine to have different seed application rates, depending on soil variability, with line shutdown , being able to optimize seed consumption by up to 15%.

More time on the field

Another differentiator of Fast Riser is its serviceability. With it, the producer has the machine in the field for longer, since it does not have lubrication points on the planting line and only has 7 distributed along the chassis. The competitor, in turn, has 600 lubrication nozzles.

“This reduction in lubrication points further improves the availability of the planter, since maintenance can now be carried out in just ten minutes every 50 hours, while the competition requires one hour of maintenance daily”, comments Peres.

The seed box of the new equipment, with a capacity of 4 thousand kilos, also contributes to the availability of the equipment in the field. The systems: seed coverer and depth limiter, in addition to the Precision Planting Vset 2 seed dosers also guarantee efficiency and quality in planting.

Soil adaptability

With the option of corrugated or corrugated cutting discs, the Fast Riser 6100 is adaptable to the most diverse soil conditions, guaranteeing high performance in sandy, clayey, humid and high straw soils. “The discs guarantee less variation in depth, in addition to having superior cutting power, a lower level of soil disturbance and better furrow quality”, comments Peres.

Operational ease

The operational ease is also another positive point of the equipment. The planter takes about a minute to change from transport to planting position and vice versa, allowing for more agility in the process.

The new 1,73 meter free space is one of the main highlights of the new Case IH sprayer. This new feature allows a bar height range of 0,55 to 2,5 meters, which serves taller crops, such as corn and sugar cane, during all stages of the cycle, ensuring precision in each drop.

“The increase in the free space of the equipment provides better spraying during the different phases of crop development, facilitating fungicide applications at the end of the cycle for large plantations. The change in bar height guarantees full coverage in the different stages of application”, says the director of Product Marketing at Case IH, Silvio Campos.

The New Patriot 350 also offers three bar size options: 27 (54 nozzles), 30 (60 nozzles) and 36 meters (72 nozzles), in addition to nozzle spacing of 50,8 centimeters, which provides greater adaptation to the conditions of the field, greater operational capacity with fewer passes, lower fuel consumption and larger area sprayed.

The equipment also has better weight distribution, thanks to the positioning of the product tank in the central part. The sprayer also has active hydraulic suspension, increasing traction capacity when starting off and stability and comfort during work. Bar stability is associated with the technological package, which allows applications to be carried out in both high and low volumes, with quality and precision.

Precision with every drop

Another differentiator of the machine is the optional AIM Command Flex system. It ensures that spraying is done in a more controlled and precise way. The main advantage of this system is to provide the best quality of product application, maintaining constant pressure and flow, regardless of travel speed. “The AIM Command Flex is a high-precision spray control system with which the process is optimized through greater control of pressure and flow from nozzle to nozzle, improving the quality of the application and avoiding product waste”, explains Campos.
