Ihara, a research and development company specializing in agricultural pesticides, launched the #PlanteComoUmaGarota (Plant Like a Girl) campaign on March 8, which aims to value the importance of the female presence in Brazilian agriculture, showing the strength and sensitivity of women that contribute to boosting this power of our economy. The action will be publicized on the company's social networks, starting on International Women's Day.

The action is based on a series of videos, which tell stories of women from different areas of the agricultural sector, including: farmers, researchers, industry professionals, journalists specializing in agribusiness, among others, who talk about their success story, challenges faced, achievements and his passionate relationship with agriculture. Throughout the week of March 08th, all these testimonials can be seen on IHARA's social networks.

The initiative also aims to promote female interaction and engagement with the campaign on social media through special posts, filters and quizzes in stories.

Gabriel Saul, Communication Manager at Ihara, explains that the campaign seeks not only to honor, but also to show the contribution of women in one of the most important sectors of the Brazilian economy. “Female participation in agriculture has increased and this is essential for us to further develop this sector. We believe that, through this campaign, we can inspire and encourage other women who aspire to work in this wonderful segment that is agribusiness”, he explains.
