C.Vale's Summer Field Day returns in 2023 after two years without being held in its traditional format due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event, however, will take place in a new area as the previous space was dedicated to the cooperative's soy crushing facilities. The new experimental field occupies 25 hectares next to the old structure and will be adjacent to the industry that will produce bran and other soy derivatives.
The first edition of Field Day in the new space will be held, from January 10th to 12th, in temporary facilities as C.Vale's plan is to build a definitive and more comfortable structure to receive visitors. The main theme of the event will be “corn management for high productivity”, with researcher Jorge Verde.
“We want to encourage producers to make a kind of fine tuning, which are adjustments in management to increase productivity and, consequently, the profitability of corn”, explains Enoir Pellizzaro, coordinator of Summer Field Day.
Grain crops are the focus of the event, but the diversification of activities also gains attention. Technical teams from the cooperative will guide producers on the management of chickens, fish, pigs and chickens. The traditional machine dynamics take place in the afternoons on all three days.
C.Vale's Summer Field Day opens the calendar of Brazilian agribusiness events. Participants will be able to find out in advance the main news that companies in the sector will make available to producers.
