Vinicius Batista has been with the company for over 14 years and took on the role this month
C.Vale's new experimental field received improvements to host, for the second year, the cooperative's biggest technical event, from January 16 to 18, 2024. The 25-hectare area is close to the soybean crusher and now has parking for two thousand vehicles in front of the main gate. Part of the internal streets were paved, permanent bathrooms and a kitchen were built to prepare meals for visitors, exhibitors and employees.
The 2024 edition of Summer Field Day will address the importance of regulating seeders, the relationship between oxygen and feed in fish farming and the main pillars for the good performance of poultry farming. The machine dynamics will be carried out at 10:30 am, to avoid peak heat periods in the afternoons. Immediately afterwards there will be a gastronomic presentation with C.Vale products, in the cooperative's institutional pavilion.
In the area of grains, topics such as biotechnology and new options for controlling resistant weeds and new molecules for use against pests will also be discussed. Three research institutions will participate in the event: Embrapa, Fundação Meridional and UFPR.
C.Vale informs that the field day scheduled for January 16th to 18th will not take place on those dates. A windstorm hit the experimental field on January 9th. It damaged structures that were being assembled. The event was moved to January 23rd and 24th.
