Brevant Sementes launches web series Circuito Silagem 360°

EA Brevant Sementes, a brand from Corteva Agriscience, traveled more than 8.500 kilometers across five states in the country to present an x-ray of Brazilian forage planning. The Circuito Silagem 360° web series has five episodes and features recommendations from brand experts and testimonials from producers from different regions of Brazil.

The first episode addresses the challenges of silage production and shows how planning can help face difficulties and obtain better results; the second highlights that choosing the right hybrid is one of the factors with the greatest impact on crop productivity and quality; The third focuses on the relevance of soil management and provides examples of practices used in different locations.

In the fourth chapter, silage production costs are analyzed, a fundamental topic since feed has a high representation in dairy activity. Finally, the fifth deals with forage planning, highlighting the importance of organizing the amount of silage in each harvest with a safety margin to provide the nutrients necessary for the animal's maintenance and milk production throughout the year.

The initiative is part of Silagem 360º, a program created by Brevant Sementes that connects farmers, cooperatives, distributors and industry, promotes knowledge in the segment and provides solutions for silage for confined cattle, whether beef or dairy. “The web series is another action by Brevant Sementes to bring quality content to the sector. It is very important to highlight that obtaining more liters of milk or meat per planted area is the result of a lot of research, genetics and technology, and also depends on strong planning”, says Anelcindo Souza, leader of Brevant Sementes for Brazil and Paraguay.
