Importance of preventive maintenance of harvesters
The current high mechanical demands of machines in the field also reflect the need for reliable and high-efficiency maintenance.
Brandt do Brasil, a company specializing in plant nutrition, performed above expectations in 2020, and 2021 promises even more, with accelerated expansion of activities in the country. To support this growth and even greater focus on customer service, the company is strengthening key areas and expanding the team.
The Innovation and Technology Director, Antonio Coutinho, takes on the management of the implementation of the new Brandt manufacturing unit, in the metropolitan region of Londrina (PR), in addition to responsibility for the citrus market in Brazil and support for South American countries that also operate in the production of citrus fruits.
Samuel Guerreiro, who played the role of Technical Director, is now responsible for the newly created Marketing and Innovation Department, coordinating marketing and communication actions to support business expansion.
And welcoming the newest member of the team, Jeferson Oles assumes the position of the company's Technical Director, assuming responsibility for supporting the teams and supporting the company's growth.
Antonio Coutinho is an agronomist, graduated from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), with a master's degree in biotechnology from UNESP – Araraquara. He has been at Brandt since 2016. In addition to leading the management of the new factory, in Cambé (PR), metropolitan region of Londrina (PR), he makes the connection between Brazil and the headquarters, in the United States. “Brandt is growing and our main objective is to help farmers increase their productivity levels by offering robust lines of modern and innovative technologies. Furthermore, the new factory allows us to expand not only our portfolio but our production capacity”, highlights Coutinho.
Agricultural engineer Samuel Guerreiro graduated from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) and has been at Brandt since 2018. With more than a decade of experience in agriculture, he has worked as general manager in the area of plant nutrition in the United States. “The biggest challenge in the new marketing area involves strengthening the market intelligence part together with well-defined access strategies, aiming to take solutions to the largest number of producers in an assertive way within the management, respecting the particularities, focusing on high productivity. Making high productivity a habit for Brazilian producers through Brandt's exclusive technologies, which are already part of the management of world productivity champions”, highlights Guerreiro.
Jeferson Oles is an agronomist graduated from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), with a master's degree in agriculture from UNESP – Botucatu. With more than a decade of experience in the agricultural market, he is a specialist in biostimulants, biological products, herbicides and nematicides. “We want to occupy space in the growing segment of products for physiology and nutrition. Brandt has in-depth knowledge of plant physiology and takes on the challenge of breaking barriers to put our technologies in the field, available to farmers. The technical department plays a fundamental role in this process, as through the dissemination of knowledge of plant physiology, nutrition and plant development, it contributes to the best positioning and development of products”, emphasizes Oles.
The HR coordinator at Brandt do Brasil, Edilaine dos Reis, explains that this process of expanding areas and hiring qualified and experienced professionals contributes to the company's growth strategy. “Each year, Brandt is a different company. In 2020, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we did not slow down growth and made several hires for the factory, administration, laboratory and production, among others. This advancement further consolidates and strengthens the team. This process is continuous because our objectives are bold. We want to attract even more experienced professionals to help us grow”, says Edilaine.
