BP Bunge opens office in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo

New space will concentrate the activities of the company's agricultural management center

BP Bunge Bioenergia, one of the Brazilian leaders in the ethanol, sugar and bioelectricity markets, opened a new office in the city of São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, with the aim of having more efficiency in its operations, as With this structure, it will be possible to consolidate the activities of the agricultural management center, known as SmartHub, accommodate its professionals and future talents in an even more attractive way, in addition to increasing proximity to its plants in the region. 

The new space reflects the current moment of BP Bunge's business, marked by its focus on investments and the excellence of its operations. For Geovane Consul (in the photo), CEO of the company, the inauguration brings to fruition another important project in line with the company's strategy. “Our focus is on people and the professional development that we can provide, on achieving operational excellence and productivity with digital transformation, evolving our financial performance, in addition to advancing even further with regenerative agriculture. These are some key elements that support our strategic plan. And with this new structure we move a little further along this path”, commented the executive. 

The São José do Rio Preto office will allow greater integration of BP Bunge plants, favoring the safety and effectiveness of operations. The new thing is that the entire Agricultural Management Center, SmartHub, is now centralized on site. The center is responsible for planning the area, the digital technologies applied to the field and the operations center that monitors all planting, CTT (harvesting, transshipment and transport) activities 24 hours a day, in real time, online and remotely. , in addition to monitoring and fighting fires, telemetry, fatigue and transport of people. Previously, this structure was segmented and part of it was located in the office in São Paulo. 

With this, the company even expands the job opportunities generated locally. “We have some vacancies open here in the region, which is one of the most structured and qualified in the country. We hope to contribute to local income generation and bring more development to the city. BP Bunge focuses on people and this new office was only possible through the collaboration of our team”, commented Cesar Bresciani, the company's Human Resources director.
