Bosch BASF Smart Farming (BBSF), a company that was born from a joint venture between Bosch and BASF Digital Farming, to distribute and commercialize intelligent agricultural technologies globally, participates for the first time in Agrishow, where it will present the Smart Planting Solution (Intelligent Planting Solution) and the Smart Spraying Solution.

Visitors who stop by the company's stand, located on E2a1 street, will be able to learn about the technologies that support sustainability and biodiversity in the countryside.

Among them is the Intelligent Planting Solution (Intelligent Planting Solution) to automate planters. The innovation allows us to optimize the distribution of seeds and fertilizers according to soil variability, in addition to carrying out line-by-line cutting to avoid overlapping, compensation in curves and consequent waste of seeds, which provides better use of the planted area and increases the farmer's productivity potential.

The technology uses georeferencing information, biomass maps from xarvio Field Manager and machine sensing to optimize planting. Developed to meet the demand of the local market, especially Brazil and Argentina, the modular solution is flexible and can be integrated into any model of planter and doser.

The Smart Spraying Solution aims to carry out automated weed management in real time and only where necessary. In pre-emergence, the technology identifies “green over brown” and in post-emergence, “green over green”, regardless of whether it is day or night. By combining Bosch's high-tech camera sensor and software with xarvio's agronomic intelligence, the solution can accurately detect weeds in milliseconds and apply the herbicide only where needed. Its unique configuration provides support to make herbicide use more efficient, with tests showing input optimization of approximately 70%. This number may be higher depending on crop conditions and weed pressure in the plots.
