FMC Corporation to present new growth plan to investors
The plan will be presented on November 16, 2023, at the company's headquarters in Philadelphia, with the presence of high-level executives
Biotrop celebrated its fifth anniversary by opening its new headquarters at Avenida Dourado 375, in Vinhedo. The investment was R$1,2 million. The company is betting on the accelerated growth of the biosolutions market and aims to contribute to the country's environmental and economic sustainability.
Biotrop CEO, Antônio Carlos Zem, states that the new headquarters represents a milestone for the company and an important step towards building the future of regenerative agriculture in Brazil. The growing demand for safe and sustainable food and the need for change on the part of farmers have driven the sector.
Founded in April 2018, Biotrop achieved revenue of close to R$350 million in its fourth year and aims to exceed R$700 million in 2023. In addition to doubling its results annually, the company has been looking for expansion opportunities. In the first year, it invested in the acquisition of Total Bio, which has been operating in the bioinputs market for almost two decades.
With more than 500 professionals on the team, Zem believes that Biotrop will be even bigger in five years, positioning Brazil as a global leader in biological products for agriculture. The company already exports its technology to more than 10 countries.
Biotrop carries out research on microorganisms and their functions in agriculture, such as combating insects, fungi and nematodes. With a bank of more than 900 functional strains, the company stands out for its excellence in research and development and for offering effective and safe solutions.
“Brazil is ahead of the world in the development of regenerative agriculture,” says Zem.
