BioGrow Lifescience, a Chilean multinational with a presence in seven countries and a strong agribusiness presence, was present at the Brazilian Soybean Congress with the launch of Citobloom 7, a plant growth regulator based on 2.4-BA (cytokinin). The solution expands the company's portfolio in the Brazilian market, offering farmers a new tool for soybean physiological management.
Recognized as a leader in seed treatment, BioGrow has established itself with Biocroma, its industry-leading polymer. Now, it is expanding its operations with a robust phytohormone solution, contributing to plant hormonal balance and increasing crop yield potential.
According to Marcus Altoé (pictured), technical-sales manager at BioGrow Brasil, Citobloom 2.4 is the result of eight years of research and development, bringing all the credibility of a Lifescience brand. "We are delivering to Brazilian producers a technically sound product aligned with the needs of soybean cultivation," he emphasizes.
In Brazil, BioGrow operates through two business units: Seed Treatment and Nutrition & Phytohormones, offering solutions based on efficiency, sustainability, and results in the field.
Recommended for soybean crops, Citobloom 2.4 provides important agronomic benefits, such as reduced apical dominance, stimulation of lateral stem development, shorter internodes and more compact plants, balanced architecture, with better pod distribution, less susceptibility to lodging and greater productivity and stability in the field.
The product is already registered with Mapa for use in soybean and apple crops in several Brazilian states, and will soon be extended to other crops, reinforcing its technical and regulatory viability in the national agricultural scenario.
