With agents withdrawn, the pace of coffee business is slow
Liquidity remains low in the domestic coffee market
With the start of the harvest in the São Paulo regions of Campinas and Porto Feliz and also in Marialva (PR), the supply of grapes is on the rise in the national market. For niagara, a rustic variety that registered low availability until the end of November due to the closure of harvests in Pirapora (MG) and Jales (SP), supply increased and the quality of the variety is considered good.
As for fines, vineyards in Vale do São Francisco (PE/BA) recovered their productivity in previous months. However, with exports very strong, domestic volume had not grown until November. This month, however, shipments decreased, and the supply of fines increased slightly in the region.
The greater availability in national wholesale was also influenced by the arrival of fruit from Paraná. According to Hortifruti/Cepea employees, despite the intensification of purchases to meet demand for the end of year festivities, greater availability has limited prices in the fields compared to what has been observed in recent months.
