To close its year commemorating 125 years of operations in Brazil, Bayer will hold the second edition of Bayer Life, a free online event on innovation, sustainability and inclusion, held annually with partner companies and influencers. With the motto "Co-creating the future we want", the initiative is an invitation to debate on essential topics to transform the world in a collaborative way, based on science and technology.
"Bayer Life is an event that promotes necessary discussions and reinforces our commitment to the search for increasingly innovative, sustainable and plural solutions to solve the major challenges we face in Brazil and the world. It is an opportunity to bring together companies, influencers , experts and society as a whole to talk about the future that we are building together for ourselves and for the next generations", explains Malu Nachreiner, CEO of Bayer Brasil and president of the company's Agro business in the country.
The second edition of Bayer Life will be broadcast on the Bayer channel Bayer Brazil YouTube, on November 24th, from 17pm to 18:30pm. The event will feature the participation of important names in the innovation, sustainability and inclusion segments:
• Rachel Maia, former CEO of Lacoste in Brazil and founder of the Capacita-me project;
• Pequena Lo, psychologist and influencer;
• Titus Martonie; National Training Manager at Bayer;
• Martha Gabriel, executive and consultant;

• Gustavo Belchior, Brazilian Regulatory Scientific Affairs Manager for Bayer Crop Science;

The event will be presented directly from LifeHub São Paulo, Bayer's eighth open innovation hub in the world and the first and most complete in Latin America, which for a year has operated as an innovation ecosystem, which seeks to promote connections between partners, business areas, startups and clients interested in bringing the most innovative solutions in health and nutrition to society. Bayer Life will feature panels on inclusion and diversity, science and digital transformation and sustainability.
The big news this year for Bayer Life is the announcement of the winners of the Innovation Minds Award, launched in September with the aim of boosting science in Brazil. Led by LifeHub São Paulo, the award received 120 entries in the Health and Agriculture categories and was promoted in partnership with the National Association for Research and Development of Innovative Companies (ANPEI), Brazil-Germany Chamber (AHK), Brazilian Agricultural Research Company (Embrapa), Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) and Global Pact Rede Brasil.
"We are proud of receiving this award, which was the result of collaboration and contributes to boosting science in our country", says Malu Nachreiner. "In addition to this approach that looks at health and agriculture in an innovative and collaborative way, we want to create real business opportunities that point out new and better paths to be followed."
Each of the winners - up to three in each category - will receive R﹩ 30 thousand to be invested in activities that are related to the scientific development of their projects, such as new research cycles, travel expenses for scientific purposes and participation in conferences or courses. All those registered for the award, whether finalists or not, can be invited by Bayer to participate in the acceleration and incubation process at LifeHub Sâo Paulo. Incubation involves investments of up to R$500.
