BASF is participating in important events in the Central West region: AgroBrasília, in Paranoá (DF), and ShowTec, in Maracaju (MS), which take place simultaneously until May 27th. The company will present its latest developments in soybean fungicides, new seed cultivars and solutions for digital agriculture.

BASF's big launch for the next soybean harvest is the Belyan fungicide, which has the most innovative active ingredient on the market: Revysol. “Belyan has Power Flex technology, which allows it to better fit into the target site of the fungi, demonstrating its control capacity and high selectivity” comments Vitor Bernardes, Senior Marketing Manager for Cultivation and Soy Portfolio at BASF.

The fungicide, which is the first Isopropanol-Azole on the market, is one of the company's main launches globally in recent years. Belyan acts against diseases such as septoria (also known as brown spot), cercospora leaf blight, Asian rust and other leaf spots, which cause various damages to crops.

The main recommendation for using Belyan is for the first application, due to its ability to act on a wide spectrum of diseases and to be highly selective for soybeans. For efficient management, the company highlights the Blavity fungicide for the second application, which delivers excellent performance against the main crop diseases, which provides more convenience for the farmer.
