BASF presents at the Show Rural Coopavel 2025, which runs until February 14 in Cascavel (PR), its main innovations for soybean management, with emphasis on the insecticide Efficon. The solution promises to be a reinforcement in the fight against corn leafhopper and whitefly, pests that have caused significant damage to soybean, corn and cotton crops.

With an unprecedented mode of action in the Brazilian market, Efficon is in an advanced testing phase with partner producers and will be launched in the first half of 2025. "Our goal is to offer increasingly efficient solutions for farmers, ensuring greater productivity and safety in management", says Ricardo Arruda, Digital Agronomy manager at Xarvio, BASF's digital platform.

In addition to Efficon, the company will also be highlighting its fungicide portfolio, known as Escudo Verde, which includes the products Belyan, Blavity and Keyra. These solutions act in a complementary manner in different phases of the soybean cycle, protecting the crop against diseases such as Asian rust and cercospora.
