This Monday (01/02) BASF presented five new varieties of FiberMax cotton. This is the brand's biggest launch for culture. The presentation took place in a virtual format and was attended by  Mario Sergio Cortella, the president of ANEA, Henrique Snitcovski, the president of ABRAPA Júlio Cézar Busato, as well as professionals from the company.

The FiberMax FM 976TLP, FM 942TLP, FM 978GLTP RM, FM 970GLTP RM and FM 912GLTP RM varieties were presented. The agronomic characteristics, growing regions, resistances and tolerances were shown by BASF's Agronomic Development manager, Rogério Ferreira.

Mário Sergio Cortella addressed the theme  "From opportunity to success". He remembered his rural origins, family members and people close to him who are agronomists and zootechnicians. "I'm a real country bumpkin," he declared. Regarding agriculture, he defined it as the art of patience. "But patience cannot be confused with slowness. Being slow is being incompetent", he warned.

The event ended with a round table, presented by the FiberMax Product Manager, Marcus Lawder, with the participation of the president of ANEA, Henrique Snitcovski and the president of ABRAPA, Júlio Cézar Busato (President of ABRAPA).
