BASF presents its line of fungicides during Expodireto Cotrijal 2025, highlighting the products Belyan, blavity e keyra. These fungicides act at different times in the soybean cycle, with the aim of protecting the crop against the main diseases of the crop, such as Asian rust (caused by "Phakopsora pachyrhizi"), cercospora (caused by "Cercospora kikuchii") and leaf spots.
The trio of products are part of the "green shield", a new management strategy recommended by the company. Developed to optimize crop protection, the green shield is a flexible approach that aims to guarantee the productive potential of soybeans from the first to the last applications in the field.
According to Graciela Mognol, marketing director at BASF Agricultural Solutions, Keyra, the company's recent launch, occupies a unique position in the market.
"Keyra was developed especially for the last applications of soybeans, with the aim of combating diseases that affect productivity at the end of the cycle. We believe that adequate management requires preparation and resilience in all phases of the crop", he states.
BASF recommends using Belyan in the first applications. Launched in 2020, this fungicide contains the Revysol molecule, which offers protection from the bottom of the plant and contributes to healthy development.
Blavity, in turn, is indicated for the middle of the soybean cycle. With a formulation based on prothioconazole + fluxapyroxad, it acts on the leaves of the middle third of the plant, the moment when productivity is most influenced.
Finally, Keyra completes the application cycle, focusing on crop protection and ensuring high yields.
