Baldan is expanding its portfolio into the spraying phases. Recognized for 96 years for its excellence and innovation in the development of solutions for soil preparation and planting, Baldan, one of the leaders in the agricultural implements segment in Brazil, presents for the first time at the Bahia Farm Show, Ruubi, a new version of Super heavy plow harrow with ballast adjustment and disc retightening system. The company, which maintains its core business with equipment for soil preparation and planting, has also entered the sprayer market in the last three years, and will take new machines from this portfolio to the fair, such as the 3.000 and 3.500 version of the Avola sprayer. With this product, Baldan expands its business, attracting new profiles of rural producers.
Agribusiness exports in the Brazilian northeast totaled US$967,7 million in January 2024, according to a survey carried out based on information from the Agrostat system, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa). Bahia led exports in this region, with an amount of US$521,4 million, a value that represents an increase of around 56% in the state's foreign sales compared to the same period of the previous year.
“We consider Bahia a strategic state for us, as the region has a different soil due to little rainfall, which demands heavier, larger machines for larger areas”, highlights Fernando Capra, CEO of Baldan, who will be present at the event.
Baldan has been seeking to raise industry standards and drive innovation in agribusiness. Ruubi favors soil preparation for cultivation, providing better conditions for aeration, infiltration, water storage and homogenization of fertility, which contributes to improving productivity, crop quality and sustainability of the agricultural system.
Another highlighted product at the fair is the Movere leveling harrow developed in versions; 88, 108 and 124 discs, which works to prepare the soil of large areas to suit different types of land, breaking down clods and leveling after harrowing, making the soil surface uniform and ready for new planting.
The GDOBS Grid, built with reinforced tubular beams to suit 26, 28 and 30 inch discs, has stabilizing rods with adjustment under high compression springs, support for joining the uprights and hydraulic articulation cylinders for transporting and lifting the tires.
A sales success at all the fairs it participates in, the Avola sprayer, in its new version, has autonomy in a 3.500-liter spray tank, which includes boom lengths of 30,32, 36 and 50 meters. Internationally awarded, this product has the highest ramp capacity on the market, with a high-performance pump and wheel motors, simulating a CVT transmission. It has equal weight distribution (50% on the rear axle and 4% on the front), intelligent traction control and anti-slip system, as well as steering control on all XNUMX wheels, enabling a smaller turning radius and providing greater operator comfort. , even during fluctuations in terrain relief.
Rural producers will also be able to check out the Agiflex planter. This equipment has an independent hydraulic system, a 2500L fertilizer tank with gravity distribution and a 1500L seed tank. It also has an inoculant application system with a spray capacity of 1000, and to increase plantability, it also uses a pneumatic doser combined with electric motors from the Bosch line, which is responsible for cutting line by line.
The Bahia Farm Show is the largest agricultural fair in the North and Northeast, which takes place from June 11th to 15th in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia.
