Baldan Implementos Agrícolas, headquartered in Matão (SP), will invest R$15 million in a project to structure the logistics of original parts, ensuring more agility and practicality in delivering products to customers. With a prepared team, the first stage of the plan foresees, for this year, three Distribution Centers (DCs) in strategic regions (Central-West, South and Southeast), located in Goiânia (GO), Maringá (PR) and Matão (SP), where the portfolio, with more than 1.900 items, will be available for immediate delivery within one hour of registering the order.
Furthermore, Baldan has already signed a partnership with air transport companies that will allow customers from other regions to collect their order within 12 to 24 hours at 55 airports throughout Brazil. According to Henri Narimatsu, the company's Supply Chain director, this is the first part of the logistics restructuring process. “For the second half of 2023, we will offer even more alternatives to customers. In addition to the increase in the number of airports, there will be the possibility of collecting parts in other locations in different cities, as well as opting for delivery to the property or resale, with deadlines that will vary according to the region where they are located”, explains the director .
For 2024, the company plans to make new CDs available in other regions of the country. “Our objective is to provide customers with the fastest delivery possible so that they can meet their preventive maintenance deadlines, as well as having agile service to avoid machines being stopped in the field in cases of equipment breakdown or damage during operation. To this end, our efforts are focused on prompt delivery to DCs and solid partnerships with strategic suppliers”, he concludes.
