In the assembly phase, the 18th edition of the Bahia Farm Show, which takes place between the 11th and 15th of June, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, West of Bahia, will honor the link between rural people and the land by bringing the theme “ Agro: Brazil’s heritage”. In addition to the technology that will be demonstrated by the 420 confirmed exhibitors, the event aims to demonstrate the feeling of unity and confidence in prosperity, regardless of adversity.
For the president of the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia (Aiba) and the Bahia Farm Show, Odacil Ranzi, the theme reinforces the importance of agribusiness as one of the main socioeconomic pillars in Brazil. “We, producers, are optimists by nature and are always looking to the future with faith. Bahia Farm is our representation of technified agriculture, with high productivity and sustainable, but which keeps alive the love for the land and conviction for the success of agribusiness, since the time we arrived more than 40 years ago in the west of Bahia with the determination to build and develop the region together with our families”.
Choice of theme
The theme is also reflected in the work carried out by rural producers in Bahia in organizing the Bahia Farm Show, which is in its 18th edition and is expected to attract more than 100 people over the five days of the fair. Between the last two editions, the fair has grown by around 25% in area, 9% this year alone, which will occupy 246 thousand square meters that will house 420 exhibitors in the external area of the complex and in the three covered warehouses.
In total, the public will be able to check out around a thousand brands, from traditional resellers of machines, vehicles and agricultural implements, to irrigation technologies, drones, software, planes and structures such as silos and warehouses.
