The Bahia Farm Show closed the last edition with a total sales of R$ 10,949 billion in business. This is the new record for the agricultural technology fair, surpassing the R$ 8,249 billion of the last edition, a growth of 32,7% compared to 2023. In relation to the public, the Bahia Farm Show, held in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, also exceeded expectations, with 111.377 thousand visitors, surpassing last year's 100.262 thousand.
According to the fair's organizers, the sectors that boosted sales were the resales of agricultural machinery, such as planters, harvesters and tractors, and the yellow line, focused on civil construction, in addition to dealerships of vehicles, irrigation equipment and structures for storage. “This sales record shows that rural producers continue to trust Bahia Farm Show as the best place to close a deal, with easy credit and good interest rates”, says the president of the agricultural fair, Odacil Ranzi.
Exhibitors and infrastructure
This year's Bahia Farm Show featured the exhibition of more than a thousand brands from 434 companies distributed over a total area of 262 thousand square meters, which included external parking and three covered warehouses.
Ranzi highlights that, given the success of the edition, it is now possible to predict the demand to increase the area and accommodate more exhibitors next year. In 2025, the fair will take place between June 09th and 14th.
