Bahia Farm Show 2020 is coming

The fair already has 90% of the area occupied by old and new exhibitors

With more than two months to go until the start of the Bahia Farm Show 2020, the international agricultural technology and business fair records the historic sales mark for the spaces offered to exhibitors – considering the same period as previous editions – already occupied, totaling 90% of the area . The number reveals, once again, the strength of the event and its consolidation as an international fair, with increasingly effective participation of exhibitors from other countries interested in showcasing their brands, products and services. Bahia Farm will take place from May 26th to 30th, in the municipality of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, West of Bahia.

In 2019, when it celebrated its 15th anniversary, BFS recorded a result of more than R$1,9 billion in business volume, figures that positioned the fair among the main ones in Latin America. The more than 68 thousand visitors who attended the event were faced with a fair 30% larger compared to 2018, thanks to the second covered pavilion, opened last year and which housed 62 exhibitors who had never participated in the event, but who enjoyed the event so much experience that have already confirmed the return. For this 2020 edition, the organizers expect that the spaces offered will be sold out soon. Of those already sold, 20% are from first-time exhibitors.

“The great demand and consolidation of sales for this edition of the Bahia Farm Show is attributed to the good performance of agriculture in the region, with expectations for another year of a promising harvest. I often say that if agriculture is doing well, the economy is doing well. Linked to this is a team of committed people who work hard and who, at the end of each edition, begin to organize the next one. The result could be nothing other than an event that attracts more and more exhibitors and moves the entire regional economy, generating jobs, income and opportunities”, highlights the fair's commercial manager Regiane Oliveira.

In addition to contracts in the closing phase, 210 exhibitors have already been confirmed for this edition in the segments of agricultural machinery and equipment, seeds, pesticides and fertilizers, aviation, vehicles, software, irrigation technology, among other products and services. The Bahia Farm Show Complex comprises a total area of 144 thousand m², modern and complete infrastructure with 100% paved streets, restaurants, auditoriums, large parking lots, medical center, restrooms and 24-hour security.

The Bahia Farm Show is organized by the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia (Aiba), with the support of the Bahia Association of Cotton Producers (Abapa), Fundação Bahia, Association of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Dealers of Oeste da Bahia Ltda. (Assomiba) and Luís Eduardo Magalhães City Hall.
