The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) publishes, in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) this Thursday (31/5), Resolution No. 5.820, of May 30, 2018, which presents the table with the minimum prices referring to the kilometer driven when carrying out freight, per loaded axle, established by Provisional Measure No. 832, of May 27, 2018. The resolution comes into force upon its publication.
The tables are mandatory for the country's freight market. They were prepared in accordance with the specificities of the cargo and are divided into: general cargo, bulk, refrigerated, dangerous and neo-bulk. The methodology used to define minimum prices was based on a survey of the main fixed and variable costs involved in transport activities.
The numbers contained in the annex to the resolution will be valid until January 20, 2019. From then on, according to the provisional measure, new tables must be published by January 20 and July 20 of each year and will be valid for the semester in which they are edited.
ANTT will promote a social participation process to discuss the proposal to monitor compliance with the provisional measure.
